The LAIA Chem Expo brings together the Lake Area Industry Alliance and local industry partners to give students a hands-on look at the world of chemistry, science, and the many career opportunities available in our industry.
We love having the opportunity to volunteer, connect with local students, spark curiosity, and help inspire the future workforce in Southwest Louisiana.

Lotte Chemical recently hosted its 2nd Annual Safety & Health Day, bringing employees, industry partners, and vendors together to promote safety, health, and well-being across our workplace.
Safety remains Lotte Chemical’s number one core value, and events like Safety & Health Day reinforce our shared responsibility to look out for one another and maintain a strong culture of safety.
Employees had the opportunity to engage with industry partners and vendors, learn about valuable health and safety resources, and participate in activities focused on building healthier and safer habits.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Lotte Chemical team whose dedication and preparation helped make the event a success. We are also grateful to the many industry partners and vendors who volunteered their time, hosted informational booths, and provided resources to support our workforce.
