LOTTE Chemical has a robust defined contribution plan in the form of a 401(k). The Lotte Chemical USA 401(k) and Profit Sharing Plan is a Safe Harbor Plan with a strong Safe Harbor Match as well as an Employer Discretionary Match. All Employees may participate.

Employee Recognition

Recognition

Beginning in 2023, we added a Recognition Program (Chem Central) for all Employees. We want to reward Employees for their good work. This platform allows any Employee to nominate another Employee or Team of Employees for public recognition for the great work they do. An Employee may nominate for various reward levels.

Service anniversaries also use this platform to reward an Employee’s loyalty to the Company over time.

Philosophy

The Company endeavors to pay its Employees equitably based on the position an Employee holds and the value of the work provided. The Company uses a compensation system that determines the current market value of a position based on the knowledge, skills, abilities (KSA’s), and behaviors required of a fully competent incumbent. The system will be objective and nondiscriminatory in theory, application, and practice.

Performance Based Pay

Our performance-based pay relies on Employees having the KSA’s and behaviors to accomplish the work required of the position thus meeting the Core Competencies and, for our Leaders, additional Leadership Competencies apply.
